Our family business was founded in 1993.
Our main profile was trade of chemicals and related packaging materials (eg. bottles, PE bottles, caps). Later, the trade of pharmaceutical and food bottles and their associated plastic closures became more dominant.
Since 2000, in addition to domestic sales, international relations have also strengthened, and export activity is constantly increasing (mainly to Romania, Moldova and Slovenia). Thanks to the dynamic growth, we have sold more than 8 million glass products in 2015 through our wide range – nearly 40 different types - of products.
Because of the lack of domestic production capacity, we were forced to meet the emerging needs with the help of foreign manufacturers. We are currently a representative of Gerresheimer Molded Glass GmbH in Germany, so we can provide the products of one of the largest producers of glass, chemical, pharmaceutical and food products in Europe to our customers. Our major suppliers also include austrian Stölzle-Oberglas GmbH and italian Bormioli Rocco S.P.A ..
We are the exclusive representative of KISICO, a german company that manufactures caps and special closures (eg. heat resistant caps). Other partners include Remy & Geiser GmbH (Germany) and Sensoplast Packmitteltechnik GmbH (Germany), and ABA Sp. Z o.o (Poland) and Kunststoffwerk Kremsmünster (Austria).
In line with market demands, we continuously expand our warehouse locations, stockpiles and product range on our premises, so we can meet individual and special needs.
Since 2009, Tonychem has been awarded ISO 9001 certification.
